Original point-to-point tube amps were produced untul the early 80ies are build like tanks! When in good condition they will have loads of power, sound beautiful and have vertially no unwanted noises. Realitiy is that after 40+ years most of these amps need maintenance and don’t sound that good anymor. Ofter obscure modifiacation alter the sound in an unwanted way too. Known symptons are:

-Hum

-Hiss

-Reverb or vibrato not working

-Vibrato ticking

– Intermittend noises

-Cold/dull sound

-Muffled sound

-Lack of bass

-Lack of volume/power

-Non working channel

Vintage Instrument Service can fix your Fender tube amp. There’s four service packages, depenting on it’s current condition one of these probaly applies for yor.Of course we can also do repairs for you too, scroll below for a pricelist of the most common repairs. All prices include materials and VAT and apply for Silverface Deluxe/Bandmaster Reverb (22 watt) and Twin Reverb/Dual Showman (100 watt) models. Because other models like the Bass, Vibrolux, Super Reverb, Super Reverb, Bandmaster, Concert and Princeton havevery simular chassis/circuits prices for these won’t vary that much. Ask us!!

Other reapairs can probably be done as well for an hour rate (see Rates) excluding any materials. Definitive costs can differ depending on the exact production place, year and condition of the Fender amp. Post 1976 Fender amp have more power and repairs are therefore slighly more expensive.
